Opportunity, as defined by Webster’s 1828 Dictionary:
“1. Fit or convenient time; a time favorable for the purpose; suitable time combined with other favorable circumstances. Suitableness of time is the predominant signification, but it includes generally circumstances of place and other conveniences adapted to the end desired.
I find it’s relation to time most interesting. The fact that opportunity doesn’t just sit around forever waiting to be reaped. You either reap it, or you don’t. And that is not to say that there isn’t unlimited opportunity though (there is! 🙂
The key is recognizing it. Why do some people find plenty, and others little? Because they see it where others do not. As I explore in my video/podcast, the way to see clearly is to clarify your purpose. If I’m not looking for deals to flip on Amazon then I’ll never find them. Seek and ye shall find, knock and doors open.
This is something that we can all improve on. The winners in life are constantly improving, willing to learn and find better ways to achieve what they want. The real winners want to affect positive change in themselves and others.
